This is a spur of the moment thing that I came up with while teaching K-2 students.  In order to encourage them to quiet down in the hallway I said I needed them to act like ninjas.  Why?
Ninjas aren’t just quiet, they’re silent.
Ninjas don’t swing their arms around like in martial arts movies, as that would get them noticed.
But most importantly: When a ninja wants to get things done, they do it very, very well.
I made other posters to go along with this that included a lot more information, but this one’s my favorite.  The original’s an .svg file so I can scale it up or down as much as I want.  The art is from images I found on openclipart.org and modified in Inkscape.

Brilliant! Can’t wait to share with my little ninjas.

The little ninjas are modular. Shall I make some reading ninjas as well?
